As the Training Consultant at ethree, you are responsible for the development of client and ethree training programs both virtual and in person.

You will spend your time shaping learning interventions, from establishing learning objectives to developing curriculum to facilitation and evaluation; you thrive in all aspects of training design and delivery. Reporting to the Principal consultant and owner, you will develop new courses for ethree and for clients, design scripts for e-learning, lead the Online Coordinator and provide day to day guidance to the instructional design team. You will be equally involved in shaping curriculum for e-learning as facilitating classroom interventions and have the skill and ability to do both to the level and standard ethree clients expect.

As an L&D professional you understand how to translate client wishes into highly interactive and engaging learning interventions, whether you’re facilitating in person, virtually or building self-directed e-learning content. You are adept at putting together facilitation materials and designing case studies and other activities to enforce learning points. As an energetic and passionate facilitator, you know how to capture the attention of the room, creating engaging learning environments and foster those all-important aha! moments. You understand the importance of service and helping clients and know how to role model the way ethree works; our clients think of you as part of their team, and you are skilled at working with SMEs to extract the content we need to shape engaging learning. You understand the importance of managing scope, and balancing quality and speed of delivery and work with the team to ensure those elements are appropriately managed and your projects come in on budget and on time.

Developing curriculum
• Working with clients to identify learning needs
• Connecting with SMEs to determine content
• Shaping curriculum
• Designing interventions and activities
• Building materials including evaluation methods
• Delivering train-the-trainers if required by clients

Delivering training face to face and virtually
• Setting up sessions
• Building courses in the online learning system
• Delivering face to face sessions
• Delivering modular programs
• Delivering webinars

Shaping e-learning design
• Liaising with clients on design requirements
• Completing module design as needed and building scripts and story boards
• Problem solving on design requirements where out of the box solutions are required
• Completing QC on team deliverables to ensure they meet client expectations

Ensuring quality
• Gathering feedback and evaluation on all learning initiatives and driving changes as approved by the principal
• Overseeing the evaluation of any external facilitators
• Liaising with clients for feedback and review

Team Leadership
• Project guidance to the e-learning Instructional Designer
• Leading and managing performance of the Online Coordinator (direct reporting line)
• Supporting the recruitment and onboarding of new team members

Organizational Leadership
• Staying abreast of new approaches and ideas in e-learning design
• Acting as part of the leadership team, providing overall leadership within the organization
• Contributing to strategy development
• Contributing to organizational initiatives
• Attending leadership and team meetings
• Other duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate

  • University Graduate preferred
  • 5+ years L&D experience
  • Demonstrable facilitation experience to a range of groups
  • Demonstrable experience in curriculum design or instructional design 
  • 2+ years leadership experience  
  • Exceptional communication skills both oral and written
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills 
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Self motivated and driven individual who takes initiative 
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Tech savvy
